(3) Brush
The double ended brush includes a spatula that is ideal for cleaning the coffee dregs container.
The tool is specially shaped to thoroughly clean even the most difficult to reach corners.
Clean frequently (at least once every week).
(4) Reactive strip
The Reactive strip lets you quickly measure the hardness of the water. This is vital for determining
the lifespan of the filter and optimising the settings of the coffee machine.
Instructions:
1. Remove the reactive strip from the pack.
2. Immerse the indicator strip fully in a glass
of water for approximately one second.
3. Remove the reactive strip from the water
and shake gently. After approximately 1
minute, red squares will develop on the
strip indicating the hardness of the water
(from a minimum of 1 square for very soft
water, to a maximum of 4 squares for
very hard water).
4. After testing the water hardness, set the
coffee machine correctly as indicated in
the instruction manual.
