The machine must be switched off and disconnected from the mains electricity before starting
any maintenance work. Only the coffee dregs container may be cleaned while the machine is
switched on.
(1) EcoDecalk Mini
EcoDecalk Mini is a low environmental impact plant-derived limescale remover.
Used regularly, this product prevents the build-up of limescale, which causes malfunctions and
faults, and accentuates the original aroma of the coffee.
Instructions:
1. Pour a single dose (100 ml) of EcoDecalk Mini into the water tank.
2. Fill the tank as indicated in the machine instruction manual.
If no specific quantity is indicated, dilute the limescale remover in one litre of water.
3. Perform the procedure indicated in the machine instruction manual.
4. Rinse the tank with clean water.
Limescale deposits increase the electric power consumption for heating and pumping the
water by up to 30%. Descaling the machine regularly prevents wear.
(2) Milk Clean
Milk Clean is a mild detergent with an antibacterial, sanitising action, suitable for cleaning the
interior and exterior of the coffee machine.
It is a universal degreaser which deep-cleans the interior of the supply pipe and the duct to remove
the milk residue and fat deposits.

MANUAL CLEANING

Cleaning the milk container:
• Mix a measuring cap of Milk Clean with warm water in a container. Immerse the components
of the container in the solution for 8 to 10 minutes. Use a brush to reach less accessible parts
of the components.
• Rinse the individual components with clean water.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING

Cleaning the circuit of the milk/milk frother/jug:
• Prepare a solution made with 90 ml of warm water and 10 ml of Milk Clean.
• Pour the solution into the milk jug.
• Place the milk jug in its seat and start the "cappuccino" cycle. Place a container under the dispenser
nozzle to prevent cleaning solution from splashing onto nearby parts of the machine.
• On Digital models with keypad, press the "Cappuccino" button twice quickly.
On touch screen models, press "Milk".
• Once the cycle has finished, empty any remaining solution from the container.
• Repeat the cycle 3 or 4 times.
• Rinse with clean water.
CLEANING THE OUTER PART
Cleaning regularly with the (3) Microfibre cloth moistened with Milk Clean will keep your coffee
machine looking as good as new.
Instructions:
• Pour a measuring cap of Milk Clean into 90 ml of warm water.
• Moisten the Microfibre cloth with the solution.
• Wipe the exterior of your machine.
