10.7 - Electrical Safety (Continued)
• Never operate the Dermapen 4™ if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped, damaged, or exposed to fl uids.
• When using the Dermapen 4™ with the Power Adaptor, ensure you have clear access to
switch the power o at the AC power outlet.
• There are no user-serviceable parts inside the Dermapen 4™. Do not modify the equipment
in any way. Contact your equipment provider for technical assistance.
10.8 - Disposal
• Dermapen 4™ equipment and components (including Dermapen 4™, Cartridge, Sleeve,
Batteries, Battery Charger and AC/DC Power Adaptor) should not be mixed with general
household waste. For proper treatment, recovery and recycling, please take this product(s)
to designated collection points. Alternatively, in some countries, you may be able to return
your products to your local retailer upon purchase of an equivalent new product.
• For professional users in the European Union: Contact your equipment dealer or supplier
for further information.
• If you are unsure about the correct method of disposal in your country, contact your local
authorities or product dealer and ask for the correct method of disposal.
• Always dispose of Needle Cartridge in a sharps container.
• Soiled gloves and DpSleeves should always be disposed of in a biohazard container. Do
not reuse disposable gloves.
