3. Installation
1. Connect to 230 V power source.
2. Connect the temperature-electrode.
3. Turn the unit on or off by pressing the „on/off" button.
4. Adjusting the nominal value
A. Press the „Temperature" button - a flashing indicator shows the actual adjusted nominal value.
B. To change the value, either press the „+" or „-" button.
C. Press the „Temperature" button again and the changed value is stored.
D. Check the adjusted value:
- Press the „Temperature" button and the value is shown on the indicator.
- After four seconds, the measured value is indicated.
5. Switching Heater/Cooler
This unit can be used to control either a heater or cooler. The settings can be changed as follows:
Remove power, after 10 seconds reconnect the power. After a few seconds, the display indicates
the following:
- 111.1 for heater adjustments
- 000.0 for cooler adjustments
- Switching from cooler to heater:
Remove power, wait for 10 seconds, then press the „+" button.
Connect the power and wait for the 111.1 indication.
- Switching from heater to cooler:
Remove power, wait for 10 seconds, then press the „-" button.
Connect the power and wait for the 000.0 indication.
The adjustments are stored even by a power failure or removal from power source.
6. Calibration
This unit is delivered with a sensor. The calibration is permanent (no further calibration required).
The unit only has to be calibrated by replacing the sensor.
Remove power, wait for 10 seconds. While pushing the „Temperature" button connect the power.
The software version is displayed.
Release the „Temperature" button and the actual value can be corrected by pressing the „+"/"-"
buttons (the actual value should be controlled by a calibrated thermometer).
Press the „Temperature" button again to save the settings.
