Connection to the AC Power Supply
The AC socket providing power to the VDPL300BA must be properly and
separately earthed. Do not use any other AC cords than the one provided or any
other AC cord not authorized by the manufacturer.
• Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
• Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. Do not connect it to a dimming pack.
• Replace a blown fuse only with an identical fuse (F1A/250V).

Operation

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
Switch on your ARAZU II by connecting the power plug to the mains. Disconnect from the mains to
switch off. Select with UP/DOWN, confirm your selection with ENTER.
• Sound/Master-Slave Operation
Interconnect the master ARAZU II and the slave ARAZU IIs using standard DMX cables through
the XLR inputs and outputs. Attribute the G.1 address for the master unit; attribute an S.x
address for any slave unit. The units will now react to sound.
• DMX512 Control
Operating the ARAZU II through a DMX controller allows you to create your own tailored
programs and to control each connected ARAZU II individually. Simply connect the controller to
the ARAZU II using a standard DMX cable. Press MODE until R.XXX is displayed. Next, set the
DMX address for each ARAZU II.
