Remote management via SMS
N.B. The text messages that follow can be sent from any mobile phone, however, owners
of smartphones (Apple or Android) can download the TH Thermo app from their respective
Stores, and this greatly simplifies remote management of the programmable thermostat.
How to compose control text messages correctly
The programmable thermostat features a GSM module that allows remote control by sending
and receiving text messages.
Text messages can be composed in two ways.
DEFAULT TEXT MESSAGE:
The "#" symbol is followed by a command with default syntax.
Example: # STATO ?
CUSTOMISED TEXT MESSAGE:
The symbol "#" is followed by a numerical code that identifies the command.
Between the "<" and ">" symbols, it is possible to enter a customised descriptive text.
Example: # 01 <System status info>
The two messages are the same and will receive the same answer.
N.B. The spaces inserted between the words that make up the messages to be sent to
the programmable thermostat are irrelevant.
Creating and managing the programmable thermostat phonebook
The first entry in the phonebook can be made by any number (from any phone). Afterwards,
changes to the address book (adding, deleting or editing numbers) can only be made by
one of the numbers present in the phonebook.
N.B. A number not in the phonebook can only make changes to the phonebook itself
or send commands to the programmable thermostat after entering a password that
must be included at the end of each message enclosed in brackets (see example under
Setting the phonebook).
The default password is 1234 and can be changed (to another sequence of 4 numbers)
from any of the numbers in the phonebook.
