1 - GENERAL RULES AND DIRECTIONS
1.1 - Introduction
The present manual belongs to GFC - Bollate. The contents of this document may not be repro-
duced or assigned to third parties. All rights reserved.
1.2 - Description of machine
The frame heater is a hot air blower for the softening of celluloid frames and similar material. The
frame heater permits a forced hot air ventilation. (The user will check on the reaction of the various
materials to the temperature).
1.3 - Normative references
1.3.1 - Compulsory set of rules
- DPR 27.4.1955 n. 547, "Rules for the prevention of industrial accidents".
- Law n. 791 of October 18, 1977. Realization of directive of Board of European Community (n.
73/23/EEC) regarding safety guarantees with which electric material must be equipped when used
within certain voltage limits.
- EEC directive n. 73/23 with regard to low voltage, modified by EEC directive n. 93/68 of
22.7.1993.
- The machine complies with the CEDE rules and Departmental Order of April 10, 84 regarding the
suppression of strays.
1.3.2 - Additional voluntary set of rules
EN 292 (1992) Safety of machinery - Fundamental concepts, general design principals - First Part -
Basic Terminology and Methodology (EN 292-1) - Second Part - Technical specifications and prin-
cipals (EN 292-2).
EN 294 (1992) Safety of machinery - Safety distance in order to prevent that upper limbs come into
contact with dangerous areas.
EN 60204-1 Safety of machinery - Electrical equipment of machines - Part 1. General requisites
(Revision of EN 60204-1).
EN 60529 (1992) Safety of machinery - Protection degrees of casings (Code IP).
1.4 - Pre-arrangements to be carried out by client
The user installs VAVA, VISPA and VISPA UP in suitable surroundings equipped with an electric
system corresponding to the rules in force. In particular, the necessity of a conforming grounding is
emphasized.
1.5 - Instructions for the request of interventions and spare parts
