10. Precautions during use

● Do not use until all of the water in the funnel has been filtered.

● Filtering flow and the period for replacing the cartridge will differ in accordance with
the amount of water use, water quality and water temperature.
● Do not use hot-spring water, well water or any other water that contains large
amounts of impurities.
● The filter cannot remove salt (seawater) or metallic ions (except lead) contained in
water. It is also not capable of converting hard water to soft water.
● Do not eat or drink the filter material. If accidentally swallowed wash your mouth
with water and consult your doctor.

11. Dispose the battery correctly

The battery for the counter has a life of approximately five years.
At the end of its life, it needs to be disposed correctly.
The battery is sealed within the lid, so please dispose the whole lid in accordance with local
regulations for battery disposal.
