• Remove the food from the frying basket and place it on a plate or dish [11].
Caution: Prevent burn injuries. Do not touch the frying basket; it is very hot. When removing ingredients (e.g.
beef, chicken, meat or other ingredients with original oil or juices), excess oil or juices will have collected at the
bottom of the frying basket. DO NOT turn the pan over, otherwise oil or juices collected at the bottom of the
frying pan will leak onto the ingredient or leak out onto the surface. Please use tongs to pick these ingredients
one by one [12] in order to prevent hot oil or juice spillages and possible burn injuries.
• Do not use metal items to remove food from the frying basket. This is to prevent the non-stick coating from
being damaged.
• Excess oil, liquids or food residues are captured in the bottom of the frying basket. These must be removed
directly after use, so that they do not remain until the appliance is used next.
• Switch the appliance off if you are not going to continue using it. Turn the timer dial to OFF and the
temperature back to 0 (against the clock), and remove the plug from the socket.
Settings
The table below will help you to select the basic settings for the appliance depending on the type of ingredients
to be prepared.
Please note: Please remember our settings are only an indication. All ingredients may vary in origin, size,
weight, type and brand. We therefore cannot guarantee that these examples are the best settings for your
ingredients and you will need to find out which settings best suit your needs by experimenting. Because the
Rapid Air technology immediately reheats air inside the appliance, briefly removing the frying basket from the
appliance during hot air frying barely disturbs the cooking process.
Tips:
• Small ingredients usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger ingredients.
• Shaking ingredients halfway through cooking usually produces the best results and can prevent the
ingredients being unevenly cooked.
• Add a little bit of oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Cook your potatoes in the appliance once the oil has
been added to the fresh potatoes.
• Don't prepare very fatty ingredients such as sausages in the appliance.
• Snacks which can be prepared in an oven can also be prepared in the appliance.
• Use products which are specially prepared for ovens or airfryers.
• You can also use the appliance to heat up ingredients. If you want to heat up ingredients, set the temperature
to 150°C for a maximum of 10 minutes.
To prepare homemade chips, follow these steps:
1) Peel the potatoes and cut them to the required size (e.g. 8 x 8mm).
2) Thoroughly wash them and dry them with kitchen roll or a tea towel.
3) Pour 1/2 a tablespoon of olive oil into a bowl, place the chips in the bowl and mix until the chips are
covered in oil.
4) Remove the chips from the bowl with your fingers or a kitchen utensil and shake them so that the
excess oil remains in the bowl.
5) Place the chips in the inner basket of the appliance.
6) Cook the chips according to the instructions in this section until they are nice and crisp.
