Operating Your Laser Level
• Always ensure that the Machined Flat Edge (1) is firmly against the
surface to be measured
• The angle can be measured in degrees (°), or as a percentage (%)
• Press the º/% button to change between degrees and percentages.
The relevant symbol will be displayed
• At any given angle the display can be 'Held' so that the measured angle
will stay fixed to the display even when you move the level. Press the
Hold Button (4), then again to return to current angle. The display will
flash when held
• The level can give an audible tone to help when the display is hard to
see, such as when it is above your head. Press the Tone/Backlight Button
(7) to activate. As the level moves, it will beep every 10 degree increment.
Press the Tone/Backlight Button (7) again to turn off
• The level display has a backlight feature, enabling you to see the angle
reading in the dark. To turn on, press and hold button (7) for 3 seconds.
The display will light. Press and hold button (7) again to turn off

Maintenance

• The battery will need replacing if the display shows the = = = symbol
• Follow the procedure in Preparing your Level
Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
• For long-term storage, remove batteries and store separately
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that
are no longer functional and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE), with household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct
way to dispose of power tools
