Maintenance and care of open (wet-cell) batteries
Notice:
The care for maintenance-free batteries is
limited to the compliance with the correct
charging processes and correct adjust-
ment of the charging curve.
Open battery compartment for maintenance
Attention:
In order to rule out unintended machine
functions, the following must always be
carried out before opening the battery
compartment:
- the machine must be switched off,
- the key removed and
- the emergency stop confirmed.
Caution:
Before opening the battery compartment
make sure that both tank areas are empty
and that any objects have been removed
from the bucket.
• At the bottom right on the front side of
the machine you will find the battery
compartment release.
• Undo the hexagon screw.
• Carefully tilt the tank backwards until
it is lying on the floor.
Caution:
After maintenance, carefully return the
tank to its initial position and screw in the
hexagon screw.

Prior to commissioning
Parking brake
Activation:
• The electronic system automatically deactivates the park-
ing brake as soon as the driving switch is operated.
Release:
Notice:
The running board must be occupied.
• The parking brake is automatically released by operating
the driving switch.
Emergency stop:
• So that the machine can be moved in
the event of the steering or voltage
supply failing, the parking brake has
to be released by hand. The release
button must be used for this purpose.
It is located above the running board.
Check parking brake and emergency stop
Attention:
The parking brake and emergency stop
button are important safety elements.
Therefore, their function must be checked
regularly in short time intervals, before us-
ing the machine.
• Switch the machine on.
• Press the driving switch while keeping the steering wheel
straight. The machine will start to move straight ahead.
• Now press the emergency stop.
Notice:
The machine must abruptly brake to a
complete stop, and drive straight ahead
without steering correction.
Caution:
If one of these functions is not available,
the machine must be decommissioned un-
til professional repair by an authorized
TASKI service partner.
