• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified
people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.
• When using an extension cord, make sure the wires are at least 1mm². Do not use extension cords on a reel.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
• Make sure of your footing on scaffolding when working free-handed.
• Make sure you can never touch water, electricity or gas lines while working. Use a line detector to localise these
lines.
• Do not use the PAG12501/125012 in the vicinity of flammable vapours and substances.
• Secure all work pieces sufficiently.
• Vibrations can damage the arm-hand system. Keep exposure to vibrations as short as possible.
• Always make sure you are in a stable position while using the PAG12501/125012 and use both hands.
• Always store the device where it is inaccessible to children.

3. Specific Safety Instructions

• Don't cut or grind light metal with a magnesium content, since this type of metal is flammable.
• Do not use circular saw blades on this device.
• Never use the device without the screening guard fitted.
• Make sure that the size of the disc corresponds to the date plate specifications and the disc is suited for the shaft
size.
• Do not use separate reduction rings or adapters for mounting abrasive discs with larger holes.
• Ensure that the incandescent grinding dust doesn't pose a risk.
• Inspect the grinding disc before every use. Don't use cracked or otherwise damaged grinding discs.
• Caution ! After having switched off the device, the grinding disc will continue to rotate for a short period.
• Don't use more than one grinder disc at the same time.

5. Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT: Grinding requires a low pressure from your side. Too much pressure will place unnecessary load on
the motor. Check discs regularly. Replace cracked or otherwise damaged discs.
a. Fitting and changing the screening guard (fig. B)
• Place the screening guard (2) as shown on the device.
• Fasten the screw (1) tightly.
• To remove the screening guard, proceed in reverse order.
b. Mounting and removing the side handle (fig. B)
For safety reasons, it is imperative to use the handle. You will be able to obtain a safe body position when working.
• Fasten the side handle in one of the threaded side holes (left or right) as required.
