c. Fitting and removing the grinding disc (fig. C)
Caution ! The device must be unplugged and the disc must have come to a complete stop before replacing a disc.
• Place the device on a table, the screening guard facing upwards.
• Fit the spacer (4) onto the spindle (5).
• Place the grinding disc (3) on the spacer.
• Screw the flange (2) onto the spindle
• Press the lock knob (6) while firmly tightening the flange with the supplied spanner (1).
• Release the lock knob.
• To remove the grinding disc, proceed in reverse order.
d. Switching ON/OFF
* switching on: push the operating switch forward (towards the disc).
* switching off: gently press on the back of the operating switch.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

1. All screws or parts of the device have to be tightly connected and must not be corroded.
2. There must not be any deformations on the housing and its accessories.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any traces of wear and tear and must be able to rotate unimpeded.
4. The electric power supply cables must be free of damage. Have a qualified technician service the device.
5. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
6. After operation, clean out the ventilation slots with compressed air (3 bar max.) to prevent the build-up of dust.
7. Check the carbon brushes regularly. Dirty or worn carbon brushes result in excessive sparking and speed
variations. This should be done by an authorised service assistance centre.
8. Lubricate the machine every 500 hours. This should also be done by an authorised service assistance centre.
