powerful and versatile device. Please check carefully that there is no damage caused by transportation. Should there

2. Safety Instructions
1. Wear protective goggles when carrying out grinding operations.
2. Sound test the abrasive wheels prior to use (abrasive wheels should make a clear sound when tapped lightly
with a plastic hammer). This also applies to new abrasive wheels (detection of damage caused during
transport). It is essential to give the machine a trial run without load for at least 5 minutes. Maintain a safe
distance during that time.
3. Only use abrasive wheels that carry information on the manufacturer, the dimensions, the type of bond, rpm...)
4. Abrasive wheels are to be stored in a dry environment with a constant temperature.
5. Only use the supplied mounting flanges to fit the abrasive wheels.
6. Only use mounting flanges of the same size and shape to fit the abrasive wheels. The washers between the
flange and the wheel must be elastic e.g. rubber, soft card, etc.
7. Do not drill the mounting hole for the abrasive wheels afterwards.
8. The work rests and the upper adjustable protective covers must always be as close as possible to the abrasive
wheels.
9. Do not operate the abrasive wheels without using the necessary protection. Respect the following distances:
- work rest to abrasive disc: max. 3mm
- protective cover to abrasive disc: max. 5mm
10. Screw on the safety switch, the work rests and the observation windows prior to using the double spindle
grinder.
11. Unplug the device from the mains before replacing the abrasive discs.
12. The max. peripheral speed of the grinding machine is calculated with the following formula:
m/s = d x 3.14 x n
60 x 1000
d = grinding disc diameter in mm
n = motor rpm
13. Max. motor housing temperature: 80°C
14. In order to ensure safe grinding operations, it is recommended that the machine be firmly screwed in place.
Note: The EC Declaration of Conformity is attached.
