DECLARATION OF USE
"Class I" tool. Tool suitable for industrial environment only. It shall be
used for tightening or loosening joints in wood, metal or plastic
material. No other use will be permitted.

OPERATING MODE

The tool can be handheld or used as fixed spindle on a tool.
Handheld tool
Fit the tool with a suitable fastening accessory, then connect it to the
power supply by means of the controller.
Select the program and appropriate command mode on the controller
(for a PUSH START operation: enable the PUSH START command in
the CVIC controller. To start in lever or button mode: disable the
PUSH START command).
Hold the tool by means of the handle and apply to the fastener to be
tightened.
In PUSH START mode, apply axial thrust with the tool on the fastener
to be tightened, to start the tool.
In lever or button mode, press the lever or button to start the tool.
For a reversed rotation, hold the direction reversal button down and
press either the PUSH START device, or the lever or button to start
the tool.
As the reaction force increases in proportion to the tightening torque,
make sure that the tool is in perfect working order and the controller is
programmed correctly, to reduce the risk of injury to the operator as a
result of unexpected behaviour of the tool.
In PUSH START mode, the lever may hinder the operator and can
therefore be removed as shown on figure 1. Be careful not to lose the
return spring when removing the lever (item 111).
Control and software
Power supply by means of CVI-C 2 controller fitted with a program
version ≥ 2.1.
Fixed spindle
Install the spindle on a tool by means of the M20x1 thread (left-hand
thread).
Fit the spindle with a suitable fastening accessory, then connect it to
the power supply by means of the controller.
Connect the controller with an external start command, an external
reverse command and an external emergency stop.
Select the program and disable the push start mode.
Make sure that the tool is in perfect working order and the controller is
programmed correctly, to reduce the risk of injury to the operator as a
result of unexpected behaviour of the tool.

ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING

Follow standard engineering practices and refer to figure for the
mounting of component sub-assemblies.
Meaning of the pictograms
Left hand thread.
When reassembling, apply the recommended glue
When reassembling, tighten to the required torque
When reassembling, lubricate with the required
grease
LUBRICATION
Do not apply too much grease on gears or bearings; a thin coat
shall be sufficient.
Apply a minimum quantity of grease for easier identification of
components when assembling.

wires that are connected to the motor.
• Any repair on the motor shall be carried out in our workshops.
• Check that components are in good condition and apply grease on
mechanical parts every 500,000 tightening cycles.
• Any adjustment of the HALL effect transducer (PUSH START
system) must be performed at our workshops.
• The PUSH START system magnet (10) must be fitted with the red
face on motor side.
• The lever magnet (23) must be fitted with the white point on motor
