The External Detector Alarm Display FAA−420−RI is
required if the alarm diode of the detector is not
visible.
Assembly
Carry out the following work:
1. Before assembly, remove the cap from the base
plate: Unlock the snap−fit hooks with a flat object
(e.g. screwdriver), press in and lift the cap carefully.
2. The FAA−420−RI is mounted directly on the ceiling
or wall. Secure the base plate on an even, dry
foundation with four screws, see Sketch 1.
3. Cable duct: For surface−mounted cable insertion
(aP), break out the pre−punched cable feeds (X) on
the housing, see Sketch 2. For flush−mounted cable
insertion (uP), the cable is fed in through the
opening (Z) beneath the connection board.
4. Once the base plate has been mounted and
connected, place the cap on the base plate: Place
the cap on the base place so that the two snap−fit
hooks are inserted into the two lower slits. Press the
cap lightly onto the base plate until the snap−fit
hooks engage.

The FAA−420−RI is connected via two terminals.

it can result in malfunctions and damage to the External Detector Alarm Display. In order
to prevent damage to the device, ensure that the maximum current consumption of 20
mA is not exceeded.

Il ripetitore ottico esterno FAA−420−RI è necessario

Montaggio
Eseguire le seguenti operazioni:
1. Prima del montaggio, rimuovere il cappuccio dal-
la piastra di base: Aprire i ganci a scatto con un og-
getto piatto (ad es. un cacciavite), spingerlo verso
l'interno e sollevare il cappuccio con cautela.
2. Il FAA−420−RI viene montato direttamente al sof-
fitto o alla parete. Fissare la piastra di base su una
superficie piana e asciutta con quattro viti, vedere
schema 1.
3. Condotto per cavi: Per ingresso cavi a muro (aP),
aprire aperture preforate (X) sull´alloggiamento, ve-
dere schema 2. Per ingresso cavi montaggio a incas-
so (uP), il cavo viene inserito tramite l'apertura (Z)
sotto alla scheda di connessione.
4. Una volta montata e connessa la piastra di base,
inserire il cappuccio sulla piastra di base: inserire
il cappuccio sulla piastra di base in modo che due
ganci a scatto si inseriscano nelle scanalature infe-
riori. Premere leggermente il cappuccio sulla pia-
stra di base finché i ganci a scatto non si incastrano.
Assegnazione dei terminali
Il FAA−420−RI è connesso tramite due terminali.
