The floor should be flat, dry and cleared.
Do not use NAO on a rug or a thick carpet, as it might fall.

Put the battery charger
aside so NAO does not
trip over the cables.
NAO can fall from its own height and get up without damage.
However do not intentionally push NAO over.
NAO should be placed
in a quiet zone for best voice
recognition.
NAO is designed for indoor use
only.
Do not operate NAO if non-
condensed humidity is above
80 %.

Surroundings
Make sure there is no bright light
or direct sunlight in NAO's face
to avoid it being distracted.
Keep NAO away from radiators,
open flames and heat sources.
Do not expose NAO to dust,
sand, moisture, or excessive
saline atmosphere (e.g. coastal
environment).
