4 Use
4.1 Use without power lead
Press the On/Off button (Figure 1, D) to switch the clippers on; the "On" indicator
light built into the button comes on red. With a new, fully charged battery, the
clippers can be used without the power lead for about 150 minutes. The indicator
lights showing the remaining battery charge level come on; see Figure 1, refs. G, H
and J for details.
4.2 Use with power lead
When the battery is discharged, the clippers can be used with the power lead
connected directly to the clipper socket (Figure 2).
Press the On/Off button (Figure 1, D) to switch the clippers on; the "On" indicator
light built into the button comes on red. The indicator lights showing the remaining
battery charge level come on; see Figure 1, refs. G, H and J for details.

4.3 Adjusting the cutting height

4.4 Using the comb attachments
Possible cutting heights: 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.6
mm and 1.9 mm.
To reduce the cutting height (cut the
hair shorter): push the sliding knob (B)
upwards. Set the cutting height as shown
by the indicator (C).
To increase the cutting height (cut the
hair longer): press the release button (A)
and push the sliding knob (B) downwards.
Set the cutting height as shown by the
indicator (C).
Constant care must be taken when using
the clippers near the ears. Protect the ear
with your hand to avoid all risk of injury
due to the cutter.
Selecting the comb attachment: 3 – 6
– 9 or 12 mm.
