In addition to adjustment of the screw feeder rotation, it is also possible to easily manage run/stop cycles
during rotation of the screw feeder.
The timer used for this purpose, has two concentric dials.
The central one controls the RED indicator of RUN cycle duration (LAVORO).
The external one, controls the GREEN indicator of STOP cycle duration (PAUSA).
The two lights at the top left side, light up depending on the machine cycle being currently executed: the red
indicator will light up when the screw feeder is running; the green indicator will light up when the screw feeder
is at a stop.
The timer full scale can be adjusted by acting on the top right screw to change full scale value for the "stop"
cycles or on the bottom right screw to change full scale value for the "run" cycles.
Full scale can be adjusted as follows: SEC (seconds, factory-set), 10SEC (tenths of seconds), MIN (minutes),
HRS (hours).
If the green STOP(PAUSA) selector is set to zero, the screw feeder will rotate in a continuous mode.
As a way of example, if the cappings press controls are set as shown in the picture above, it would run for 4
seconds, followed by an 8 second stop cycle, then another 4-second run cycle and so on.
For better cappings squeezing performance, it is advised to run the machine with rotation speed set at the
lowest rpm value available, and to adequately manage run/stop cycles.
