For maximum safety, NOMAD must fit tightly and be correctly and securely fastened, so it cannot be
taken off neither by pulling it nor by rotating it around the head (see figure 1). If it is too big it may slide
down over your eyes or turn in a lateral direction due to movement during riding.
Do not use scarves or neck guards, which could make the strap slide and the helmet fly off in case of crash.
NOMAD was designed to be used with most of the eyeglasses on the market. In any case check how the helmet fits
with the glasses before purchasing it.
No helmet can protect the head against the forces generated by any type of crash.
The integrity of the shell and of the inner liner are essential to assure maximum performances in terms of safety.

NOMAD was studied to absorb crashes through a partial destruction of the shell or some of its parts that could be
damaged after a crash even if it is not readily visibly. If the helmet suffers further stress it might not be able to offer the
maximum level of protection.
# Do not use a helmet that suffered severe blows even though the damage is not readily visible; if the helmet is dama-
ged it must be replaced.
It is extremely dangerous to modify the helmet by sticking or gluing anything on it. Do not cut or punch the helmet's
shell, do not insert screws or paint it.
Do not change the internal lining of the helmet, particularly never cut or change the inside polystyrene padding:

changes to the shape of the internal polystyrene shell can affect the safety features of the helmet.
Damaged visors may limit visibility especially at night and must be immediately replaced. Colored visors must not be
used at night and in any case with poor visibility conditions. Do not apply paint and/or adhesives on the visor.

Pour être protégé correctement, le NOMAD doit envelopper parfaitement la tête et être bouclé fermement
de façon à ne pas pouvoir s'enlever en le tournant sur la tête (voir figure 1). S'il est trop grand, il peut
s'abaisser et recouvrir les yeux ou bien tourner latéralement pendant la conduite et empêcher ainsi d'avoir une bonne
visibilité.
Ne pas utiliser d'écharpes ou de mentonnières qui pourraient favoriser le glissement de la jugulaire et la perte du
casque en cas de choc.
Le NOMAD a été conçu pour pouvoir être utilisé avec la plupart des lunettes vendues dans le commerce. Il est néces-
saire de toujours vérifier que le casque reste bien en place même avec des lunettes utilisées avant son achat.
Aucun casque ne peut protéger la tête contre les forces générées par n'importe quel type d'impact.
Le bon état de la calotte et de l'intérieur est essentiel pour garantir des prestations optimum en termes de sécurité.

Le NOMAD a été conçu pour absorber les chocs. En détruisant partiellement la calotte ou certaines de ses parties,
qui pourraient donc être endommagées suite à un choc n'étant pas manifestement visible, le casque pourrait ne plus
être en mesure d'offrir une protection maximum.
# Ne jamais utiliser un casque ayant subi un choc même s'il ne présente pas de dommages visibles ; en cas d'im-
pact, le casque devra être remplacé.
Il est extrêmement dangereux de modifier le casque en fixant ou en collant dessus n'importe quelle pièce. Ne jamais
couper ni percer la calotte du casque, ne pas introduire de vis, ne pas le peindre.
Ne pas apporter de modifications au revêtement interne du casque ; le rembourrage interne en polystyrène ne doit

notamment jamais être coupé ni modifié.

Les visières endommagées peuvent réduire la visibilité, notamment de nuit, et doivent être immédiatement remplacées.
Les visières colorées ne doivent pas être utilisées de nuit et dans des conditions de faible visibilité. Ne pas appliquer
de peintures et/ou d'autocollants sur la visière.

Per avere una adeguata protezione NOMAD deve calzare perfettamente ed essere correttamente e sal-
damente allacciato, in modo da non poter esser sfilato sia tirando sia ruotando lo stesso sulla testa (vedi
figura 1). Se troppo grande può scendere fino a coprire gli occhi oppure girare lateralmente durante la guida impedendo
così una corretta visibilità.
Non utilizzare sciarpe o sottomenti, che potrebbero favorire lo scivolamento del cinturino e lo scalzamento del casco
stesso in caso d'urto.
NOMAD è stato disegnato per poter essere utilizzato con la maggior parte degli occhiali in commercio. In ogni caso è
necessario verificare la calzabilità del casco con gli occhiali utilizzati prima del suo acquisto.
Nessun casco può proteggere la testa dalle forze generate da qualsiasi tipo di impatto.
L'integrità della calotta e dell'interno sono essenziali per garantire le massime prestazioni in termini di sicurezza.

NOMAD è stato studiato per assorbire gli urti attraverso una parziale distruzione della calotta o di alcune sue parti che
potrebbero quindi risultare danneggiate dopo un urto anche in modo non visibile. In caso di ulteriori sollecitazioni il casco
potrebbe non essere più in grado di offrire il massimo grado di protezione.
# Non utilizzare mai un casco che ha subito un urto anche se non appaiono danni visibili; in caso di impatto il casco dovrà
essere sostituito.
E' estremamente pericoloso modificare il casco attaccando o incollando sullo stesso qualsiasi particolare. Non tagliare o
forare mai la calotta del casco, non inserire viti, non verniciarlo.
Non apportare modifiche al rivestimento interno del casco, in particolare non deve essere mai tagliata o modificata

Le visiere danneggiate possono ridurre la visibilità specialmente nell'uso notturno e devono essere immediatamente sosti-
tuite. Le visiere colorate non devono essere usate di notte ed in ogni caso in condizioni di scarsa visibilità. Non applicare
sulla visiera vernici e/o adesivi.
