Malfunction List

Problem
The appliance does
not work.
The green operation
indicator does not
light up.
The red warning
indicator lights up.
The coffee does not
taste well.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste
electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance
with specific rules with the implication of both suppliers and users. For this
reason, as indicated by the symbol
Cause
The power plug is not
connected to the wall
outlet.
The on/off switch is in
off position.
One of the safety
protections has been
activated:
1.Boil-dry protection
2.Overheating
protection
Scale built-up inside
boiler or water tank.
Scale built-up might
affect the coffee taste.
Old water was used to
brew coffee.
The paper coffee filter
was reused.
on the rating label or on the

Solution
Connect the power plug to the wall
Outlet.
Set the on/off switch to on
position.
1.Add water to the water tank.
2.Switch off the appliance and
disconnect the power plug from the
wall outlet. Contact service agent
or similarly qualified person.
Switch off the appliance and let it
cool. Immediately descale the
appliance (→ Descaling). If not,
the appliance might get damaged.
Descale the appliance
(→Descaling).
For brewing coffee only use clean
and fresh water.
Never reuse paper coffee filters.
