Charging
The battery may be charged when

connected to the main unit. However
to operate the unit the charger must be
removed.
Connect the AC adapter or DC car

adapter to the power adapter plug-in on
the front side of the battery.
Plug the other end of the AC adapter or

DC car adapter into the wall outlet or
DC car outlet.
The battery indicator light will turn
4
orange.
Charge the battery for 3.0 hours. The

battery indicator light will turn green
when the battery is fully charged.
Unplug the power adapter from both the
6
battery power plug-in and the wall outlet
or DC car outlet.

The battery indicator light will turn

orange when the battery is being
charged.
The battery indicator light will turn

green when the battery is fully charged.
The battery indicator light will also turn

orange when discharging and the battery
is low.
STORING THE BATTERY
Store the battery fully charged in a cool dry

place.
It may take up to 4 charge/discharge cycles

to return the battery to maximum capacity
after long term storage.
