How to use your MicroElite
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE
Check the medication nebulizer cup for
1
damage. It is recommended that you
replace your Micro Plus nebulizer every
six months.
Place your MicroElite compressor on
2
a firm, flat surface near an electrical
outlet (if using AC power) and where you
can be seated comfortably during your
treatment.
To use the compressor with the AC power
3
adapter, connect the AC power adapter
into the power plug-in on the back of the
compressor. Then connect the other end
into the electrical outlet.
Alternatively the unit can be used with

the (optional) rechargeable battery pack
or 12V DC (car) adapter. Carefully follow
the instructions for the rechargeable
battery pack on page 12.
Do not operate the unit without the filter

or with a clogged (dirty) filter. Operating
the unit with a dirty filter can impair
proper operation and cause damage that
is not covered by the warranty.
Wash your hands before beginning your

treatment.
Assemble your Micro Plus nebulizer

following the instructions on page 8 and
add your prescribed medication.

The nebulizer can be connected directly

into the compressor or can be used
with tubing by connecting one end
of the tubing to the air outlet on the
compressor.
Turn the power switch on

your treatment.
When your treatment is complete, turn

the power switch off and unplug
the unit if using AC power or DC (car)
adapter.
Clean the nebulizer according the

instructions on page 9.
Cleaning your
MicroElite
CAUTION: To reduce risk of electric shock,
DO NOT DISASSEMBLE and never
submerge or place under running water.
Unplug the compressor before cleaning.
l
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the outside
l
of the compressor at least once each
month (or more if necessary). Do not use
abrasive cleaners.
The air filter must be replaced once a
l
month or when dirty.
To change the filter:
l
Use a coin to unscrew the filter holder
l
(Note: Turn ANTI-CLOCKWISE to
to begin
unscrew).
Pull out filter and replace with new
l
filter.
Screw filter holder back on by turning
l
CLOCKWISE.
After each cleaning, check that the unit
l
is working properly by verifying that air
still comes out of the nozzle when the
unit is turned to the ON position and that
the unit's noise level has not increased.
(Increased noise indicates improper filter
positioning).
The compressor is oil-free. Do not
l
lubricate.
Store unit in a clean place when not in
l
use.
