Taking a treatment
To take a treatment, sit in an upright
l
position and relax.
Switch on the compressor.
l
Make sure there is mist coming from the
l
mouthpiece/mask.
Hold the nebulizer in the upright position.
l
Place the mouthpiece between your teeth
l
and surround it with your lips. Breathe
slowly in and out through your mouth OR
place the mask over your nose and mouth
and breathe in and out slowly through your
mouth.
When the Micro Plus sputters (sounds as if
it's stopping and starting), the treatment is
finished. You do not need to nebulize every
drop of your medication as there will always
be a small amount left in the cup when your
treatment is done.
WHEN USING MASK
Remove the mouthpiece and attach mask as
follows:

Cleaning your Micro Plus
AFTER EACH TREATMENT
Disconnect the tubing from the

nebulizer and disconnect the top from
the medicine cup. Rinse the nebulizer
and refill with clean water. Reassemble
top to medicine cup and reconnnect
tubing and run the Micro Plus with the
MicroElite Compressor again for a few
seconds to flush out any drug trapped in
the nebulizer.
Remove the tubing and take apart the

nebulizer.
Wash all the nebulizer parts (except

tubing) in hot soapy water.
Rinse all the parts in clean water.

Shake off the excess water and allow to

air dry (do not towel dry).
Reassemble and store the Micro Plus in

a clean place when not in use.
The Micro Plus may be washed
7
contained within a basket on the top
rack of your dishwasher.
ONCE A WEEK
Disassemble the nebulizer.

Boil the Micro Plus parts (except tubing

and mask) in water for a maximum of 5
minutes.
Rinse all the parts in clean water and

allow to air dry.
Reassemble and store the Micro Plus in

a clean place when not in use.
