assEMBLinG THE riVinG KnifE anD THE BLaDE GUarD
1. Insert the riving knife (5) Fig.2 so that the two hex head screws fit into the two slots of the riving knife (Fig. 11 below). Do not tighten
them fully for the moment.
2. Adjust the riving knife so that there is a 2 to 4 mm space (Fig. 12 below) between the blade and the riving knife, and check that the riving
knife is aligned with the blade using a ruler.
3. Tighten the hex head screws. Then check once again that the blade is fully secured and put back the table insert (6) Fig.7.
4. Then assemble the blade guard (2) by positioning it upon the riving knife (5) so that the screw passes through the hole (32) Fig.8 of the
riving knife as shown in Fig. 12 below.
5. do not tighten the wing screw (15) Fig.3 fully; the blade guard must be able to be moved freely.
6. Attach the extraction hose (13) to the adaptor (16) and to the extraction outlet of the blade guard.
7. An appropriate extraction system must be connected to the extraction adaptor outlet (16).
8. To remove the parts, these steps must be performed in reverse.

the blade guard (2) must be lowered on to the workpiece before starting work.

aDJUsTinG THE riVinG KnifE

iMportant!
Make sure that the saw is switched off and disconnected from the power source before any assembly or adjustment operations.
1. Adjust the blade (4) to the maximum cutting depth then position it to 0° and lock it in place.
2. Remove the blade guard as previously described.
3. Remove the table insert (6) Fig.7. referring to the paragraph «Replacing the table insert".
4. Unscrew the fastening screw (17) Fig.8.
5. Adjust the riving knife then re-tighten the fastening screw (17).
6. Reposition the table insert (6) and reinstall the blade guard (2).
assEMBLinG THE BLaDE HEiGHT aDJUsTMEnT WHEEL
Fit the blade height adjustment wheel (8) Fig.4 to the shaft on the front of the machine and tighten the wheel screw.
aDJUsTinG fOr MaxiMUM CUTs
1. Push the riving knife (5) upwards until the distance between the table (1) and the upper edge of the riving knife (5) is around 10 cm.
2. The distance between the saw blade (4) and the riving knife (5) must be between 3 and 8 mm.
3. Tighten the two hexagon socket screws (20) fully and fit the table insert (6).
aDJUsTinG fOr COnCEaLED CUTs
1. Push the riving knife (5) downwards until the point of the riving knife is 2 mm below the points of the upper saw teeth.
2. The distance between the riving knife (5) and the saw blade (4) must again be between 2 and 4 mm (Fig.6).
3. Tighten the two hexagon socket screws (17) and fit the table insert (6).
4. Important: After performing a concealed cut, the blade guard must be put back in its original position.
5. If you leave the riving knife down, you must make sure that the cutting height is decreased to around 55 mm.
6. The riving knife (5) adjustment must be checked every time the blade is changed.
rEPLaCinG THE TaBLE insErT
1. In the case of wear or damage, the table insert (6) must be changed, otherwise there is an increased risk of injury.
2. Remove the blade guard (2).
3. Remove the screw (25) Fig.7 located on the table insert (6).
4. Remove the worn or damaged table insert (6) from above.
5. To fit a new table insert, reverse the above steps.
