Problem
No high voltage

10. Repair

Warning:
− When carrying out work on equipment: de-energise the equipment.
− Repairs shall be made by a skilled electrical engineer.
10.1 Replacing the front plate with bars.
To do so, disconnect the Aerostat from the power unit.
1. Remove the nylon screw from the (grey) connector bush.
2. Slide back the connector bush with protective sleeve approximately 10 cm.
3. Detach the HV cables.
4. Remove the four tapping screws from the side of the chrome plate.
5. Replace the chrome plate with bars.
6. Attach the chrome plate using the four tapping screws.
7. Interconnect the HS cables using the M3 screw.
8. Position the connector sleeve and lock it using the nylon screw.
When using metal-screened cable: points 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8 do not apply.
10.2 Replacing the air guide
1. Remove the chrome plate with bars (see 10.1).
2. Remove the four tapping screws from the side of the blower.
3. Replace the air guide.
4. Fit the air guide using the four tapping screws.
5. Fit the chrome plate with bars (see 10.1).
If the Aerostat or parts thereof are returned for repair: Pack it or them properly and clearly state
the reason for return.
