Using the Bathtub
Operation of systems S5-S11
Time and temperature display.
The display shows the time and the
temperature, alternately, in every 30 seconds.
If there is no water in bathtub, the display
shows the temperature of air at the bottom
of the bathtub.
Time setting button.
To set the time, hold down the button M for about
2 seconds; the hour display shall start to fl ash.
Buttons + and - next to the button M can be used
to adjust the time. If you press the button again,
the minute display starts fl ashing; the respective
showing may be adjusted as described in the
section dealing with the hour display. The display
stops fl ashing if no buttons are pushed in fi ve
seconds.
The number and location of the buttons may differ depending on the system.
The use of systems S2-S4
To switch the light ON/OFF.
A signal lamp shall light up at the
button while the light is on.
Chromotherapy control
(see next page).
Switching the appliance ON/OFF.
The functions of the buttons depend
on the particular bath.
The systems S2 – S4 feature an ON/OFF switch with either one, two or three buttons. The one-button switch can
be seen in the fi gure on the left and the three-button switch in the fi gure on the right. The two-button switch lacks
one of the functions of the three-button switch.
Adjustment of additional air supply in water massage water jets
It is possible to add some air in the massage jets as the water base massage function is operating.
For that purpose, use the adjustment switch shown on the drawing. There may be more than one
switch. Each switch supplies a number of jets with air; test the switch to establish the jets it supplies.
Turning the jets on and off
Depending on the bath set, Balteco baths are fi tted with non-closing or closing jets. In baths
with closing jets (can be closed or opened by screwing), the jets are in closed position during
transportation. Closing and opening of jets takes place with the help of jet detail 1.
At the time when massage is on, it is forbidden to close more than half of the jets.
PS! When switching on the massage function ALL jets must be open.
Control of back massage
While operating the water massage function in a bath with back massage, turn the diverter
handle for re-direction of water to back or side jets.
If the bathtub has the Grand jet, it is possible to direct water into the following outlets
while the hydro-massage is working:
A) Grand jet;
B) Back massage jets;
C) Circle massage jets;
To switch the airbase massage ON/OFF
(a signal lamp shall light up upon the operation).
Buttons + and - allow to adjust the intensity
of the air base massage.
For the pulse mode hold the button down for
about fi ve seconds.
The massage function switches off automatically
after having operated for the maximum period
of 30 minutes.
To switch the light ON/OFF.
A signal lamp shall light up at the button while

the light is on.
