Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for
future reference.
1- This appliance is designed as a "food processor" for domestic
use; any other use is considered unsuitable and therefore
hazardous. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for any
damage caused by improper, wrong or irrational use of the
appliance.
2- This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
Children shall not play with the appliance. It must NOT be used
by children, people with impaired physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or people with learning difficulties, unless they are
supervised or have been properly informed about how to handle
the product correctly and they are aware of the potential hazards.
It must be used, cleaned and maintained by an adult.
3- After removing the food processor from its packaging, make
sure that it is intact and that there is no visible damage. If in
doubt, do not use it and contact the manufacturer or distributor.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or authorised repair service.
4- Place the appliance on a flat, rigid, stable surface out of the
reach of children. Do not place on delicate surfaces or surfaces
that are sensitive to heat, water or moisture.
5- Plug the appliance into a socket that is out of the reach of
children. Make sure that the power rating is compatible with the
mains electricity supply to which it is connected (see the data
plate on the underside of the appliance).
6- Fill the tank with the necessary amount of water before
switching on the food processor. Do not fill the tank with more
than 250 ml of water. Only use water to fill the tank.
7- Always place the lid on the bowl before plugging in and
switching on the food processor.
8- Do not remove the lid of the water tank while the appliance is
in operation.
9- Between cycle and cycle: switch off the appliance and leave it
to cool down for 15 minutes.
10- Do not leave the blender running for more than 30 seconds
at a time.
11- Take particular care with steam that is given off. Do not
cover the steam outlet. The appliance becomes very hot during
cooking and contact with it can cause burns; to avoid this,
always use the handle to lift the bowl.
12- Do not move, lift, tip or perform any other cleaning or
maintenance operation while the food processor is in use or
plugged into the power supply.
13- Unplug the food processor from the mains socket before
touching the water tank or baskets. Always unplug it before
cleaning.
14- Disconnect the appliance from the mains before touching
the blades. Take care when handling the blades, as they are very
sharp and can cut. If the blades become clogged, unplug the
appliance before removing the food that is blocking them. To
prevent the blades from rusting clean and dry them thoroughly
after each use.
15- Certain basic rules must be observed when using any
electrical appliance:
- Do not pull on the power supply cable or the food processor
itself to unplug it from the socket.
- Do not expose the appliance to atmospheric conditions
such as rain, sun, etc.
- Keep the appliance and the power supply cable away from
heat sources.
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not touch the appliance if it has fallen in water; should
this happen, cut off the power supply and unplug the power
supply cable from the socket before touching it. Do not use it
again until you have contacted the manufacturer, distributor
or authorised repair centre.
16- This appliance contains no serviceable parts that can
be reused by the buyer. Do not use accessories, parts or
components that are not supplied by the manufacturer,
