Irrigating Forceps
Description
MALIS Bipolar Circular Loop Tip Irrigating
Forceps are insulated titanium forceps available
in the following tip sizes: Catalog no. 80-1230
(5 mm), 80-1231 (7 mm), and 80-1232 (10 mm).
They are designed to enable the user to employ
controlled-flow irrigation when using the
MALIS CMC
with the MALIS Bipolar Coagulator and Bipolar
Cutter System CMC-ll or the MALIS Precision-
Control Bipolar Coagulator CMC-II-PC.
Replacement stylets (catalog no. 80-1130) can
be ordered separately.
WARNING: Thoroughly read the instructions for
use that are packaged with the bipolar generator
before attaching and using the forceps.
It is recommended that the output power be set
as low as possible for the intended purpose.
For the insulated forceps, when using the
generator of the MALIS Bipolar Electrosurgical
System CMC-III do not exceed:

For other generators, refer to the operator's
manual or consult the manufacturer's
representative to determine appropriate
generator power settings that will not exceed
the maximum allowable output power settings
cited above. Non-insulated forceps do not
provide protection against electrical current.
They are intended only for use in low power
electrosurgical procedures.
