In Spannungs-, Kapazitäts- und Strombereichen ertönt gleichzeitig ein Summton. Ursache der Bereichsüberschreitung sofort entfernen (Höheren Bereich wählen oder Messung unterbrechen). Überlastanzeige ist normal in Widerstands- und Durchgangsbereichen bei offener Schaltung oder zu hohem Widerstand.

    MEASURING PROCEDURES GENERAL: Turn instrument on by turning function/range switch away from OFF and selecting the parameter you want to measure. Six switch positions have dual functions (resistance/continuity, diode/capacitance, four AC/DC current ranges). How to select either is explained under the respective function.

Bereichswahl: Automatisch für alle Funktionen/Bereiche, ausgenommen Strom und 400mV AC. “AUTO” wird angezeigt. Aktuelle Funktion und Bereich werden durch Dezimalpunkt und Meßeinheit angezeigt. Sie können einen Bereich festhalten durch die RANGE Taste zu drücken.

Der angezeigte Wert wird als Referenzwert gespeichert und die Anzeige wird auf Null gesetzt. Für folgende Messungen wird der Referenzwert vom gemessenen Wert abgezogen und die Differenz angezeigt.
