CONTROL ELEMENTS

Congratulations on the purchase of
your new ZAR amp!
This instruction manual shall help to
make yourself familiar with the basic
features of your new amp. Please read
the manual carefully prior to using the
device.
CHANNELS 1 - 4
(1) TREBLE / BASS
2-band equalizer to control high and
bass frequencies
TREBLE: 12.5kHz; ±15dB
BASS: 80Hz; ±15dB
(2) EFF
Controls the rate of the integrated Hall
effect for the respective channel.
(3) VOLUME
Controls the volume of each channel.
(4) MIC IN, LINE
Input jacks to plug microphones or
instruments.
MASTER-SECTION
(5) POWER
Switches the device on and off. The
red light - integrated in the switch -
indicates the state of readiness of the
amp.
(6) EQ - BASS / MIDDLE / TREBLE
3-band equalizer to control the high, mid
and bass frequencies of the overall signal.
(7) CD/MP3
If an external source is plugged to the
CD/MP3 IN (rear panel), the volume
can be determined with this control.
(8) EFF RETURN CONTROL
Controls the rate of the integrated Hall
effect at the overall signal.
(9) MASTER
Determines the overall volume of the
amplifier.
REAR PANEL
(10) MAIN INPUT
Use the delivered power cord accord-
ing to voltage and frequency indicated
in this instruction and at the rear of the
device.
(11) FUSE:
Fuse socket. The mains fuse is the
protection device of the amplifier. In
case of overvoltage the fuse blows and
protects the device against damage by
disconnecting the power supply. If the
amp switches off while operating, pull

the power plug, open the rack and
check the fuse. Please use a product
identical in construction if the fuse
needs to be exchanged. If the problem
persists, please contact a qualified
service technician.
(12) REC OUT
Output to plug the amp to a recorder.
(13) CD/MP3 IN
Jacks to plug an external source.
(14) SEND
Output jack sending the signal from the
amp to an external effects device.
(15) RETURN
Input jack for the signal coming from
external effect devices.
