It is important that the correct anvil is used for the mandrel selected and that the lock nuts are tightened.
4.3 CONVERTING THE TOOL FOR BLIND RIVET BOLTS
1. Release the lock nut (3);
2. Unscrew the anvil (2) from the riveter;
3. Remove the mandrel (1) through the top (pull out);
4. Click the required adapter (1) into the riveter;
5. Screw the relevant anvil (2) and the lock nut (3) fully back along the adapter;
6. Re-tighten the lock nut (3) of the anvil;
7. Re-set the effective stroke (see section 4.1).
