The instrument can be used in safety-instrumented systems according to IEC 61508/IEC 61511-1
(service proven).
This is possible up to SIL2 in a single channel architecture (1oo1D), and up to SIL3 in a multiple channel,
redundant architecture (homogenously but also diversitary redundant).
If the instrument is already ordered with SIL qualification, the corresponding Safety Mannual will be
supplied in which you can find detailed information to "Functional Safety (SIL)".
If the instrument is ordered without SIL qualification, you can find the corresponding Safety Manual under
"www.vega.com", "Downloads", "Approvals".
