IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less
than 8 years.
The appliance kills up to 99 % of all bacteria and removes dust, germs and mites.

Store the appliance out of reach of children and the above-mentioned group of people.

This appliance is equipped with and works with high intensity ultraviolet light. The UV light is

very strong and can cause discolouration of fabrics and/or floors, when it is directed at
one spot for longer than 5 seconds without movement.
This appliance should be used exclusively for domestic use and is not intended for

commercial purposes.
CAUTION! NEVER look straight into the UV-C light or the UV-C lamp when the appliance is

in use. Strongly reflected germicidal ultraviolet rays are harmful to the eyes and skin of
people and animals.
ATTENTION! NEVER touch the UV-C lamp, especially not after use, as the lamp is possibly

still hot and touching it might cause burns.
NEVER put a hand under the appliance when it is in use. Never look straight into the UV

lamp during use.
ATTENTION! NEVER use the appliance on an uneven surface, as this may lead to burns and

injuries due to UV light. The appliance should be used exclusively on even surfaces.
NEVER cover, block or obstruct the safety sensors of the UV-C lamp.

BEFORE EVERY USE, make sure that the safety sensors of the UV lamp are not blocked or

obstructed by objects, fluff or other stuff that may compromise their efficiency.
Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.

Should you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the

instruction manual together with the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating

plate of the appliance before using the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is being used.

From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never

use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that
case, all repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician
Never use the appliance if it shows visible damage.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under
International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced and
folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x
210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't change
the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.
