6. Operating instructions
Note
The hot stone (4) takes some time to heat up, but it provides residual heat (to keep food
warm) for an extended period of time, even after the appliance is switched off. The hot stone
(4) can be also used for slow, fat-free grilling.

6.5 Preparing food

1. Connect the power plug to an appropriate power outlet. The red indicator light (3) will then light up.
2. Prepare the food (see Recipes).
3. Set the temperature control (8) to the desired heat level. The stone (4) and the grilling plate (7)
of the product will heat up. The red indicator light (3) will light up as the control is turned. The
indicator light goes out when the set temperature has been reached.
Warning – Risk of burns!
During preheating or cooling process, never attempt to touch the hot stone (4), the grilling
plate (7) or the storage area (2) to check the temperature.
4. Place the food on either the hot stone (4), the grilling plate (7) or the pans (6). When using the pans
(6), make sure to place it properly in the storage area (2) moulds to avoid melting the pan's plastic
handle.
Note
Please consider that better cooking results are achieved if the product has been preheated.
5. Monitor the cooking process occasionally. The cooking time depends on the food to be grilled, the
selected temperature, and your personal taste.
6. Regularly check the cooking progress. Turn food using the provided scrapers (5), so that it can be
cooked to your taste.
Warning – Risk of burns!
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the product either while it is heating or immediately
thereafter.
Note
The grilling plates (7) are non-stick coated and should therefore not come into contact with
metal utensils. Metal utensils can damage the non-stick coating.
7. Use a spatula made of heat-proof plastic or wood to remove the grilled food from the grilling plate
or hot stone.
