cleaner on using the switch (Position 2 in the Overview). After cleaning, switch the vacuum cleaner
off using the switch and pull the 12 V vehicle connector out of the on-board socket.
Always disconnect the connection cable from the on-board socket using the plug, never
using the cable itself.

6.3 EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER

First, pull the plug of the connection cable out of the on-board socket and then remove the
connected accessories.
Never open the vacuum cleaner when the connection cable is still connected.
Hold, with one hand on the motor housing (Position 1 in the Overview) and the other hand on the
dust container housing (Position 5 in the Overview). Hold the vacuum cleaner with the suction pipe
mouth pointing down at an angle. Press the unlocking mechanism for the dust container (Position
3 in the Overview) and tilt the motor housing downwards, Figure 3.

Remove the filter (Position 9 in the Overview) from the dust container, Figure 4.
Empty the dust container, Figure 5.
Re-assemble the vacuum cleaner in the reverse order.

6.4 CLEANING THE FILTER

Clean the filter regularly using a small brush, preferably every time the dust container is emptied,
