• After about 3-4 minutes, the Kingstone
Grill is ready for operation. Use the heat
regulator (H) to control the heat. The
fan remains switched on while the grill
remains in operation.

charcoal container to dowse
glowing embers of charcoal!
Warning
The ash may still be hot after
using the grill. Fire hazard!
Before cleaning the grill, first leave it to
cool down completely.

7. Maintenance / Cleaning

7.1 Cleaning
Warning
Risk of burns and of scalding:
Never use water to cool down
a hot grill.
Before cleaning the grill, first leave it to
cool down completely.
• After every time in use, clean the grill
rack and inner plate as well as any dirty
parts.
• Grill rack and inner plate can either be
cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand
using a standard detergent.
• To clean stubborn residues, we
recommend standard grill cleaning
agents. For cleaning, never use acid,
petroleum-based solvent or other
flammable substances.
• Clean the outer plate of the electrical
unit with a damp cloth or with a brush.
GBR
• Prior to any extended periods of de-
commissioning, the batteries should be
removed from the device.
• The charcoal container must only be
cleaned when dry, e.g. with a brush.
Note
Never clean the charcoal
container with water!
8. Protection of the environment /
disposal
Batteries must be handled and disposed
of safely.
Note in relation to safe handling:
Only use trade-approved AA batteries in
perfect
condition.
The discharged batteries must be dispo-
sed of in strict accordance with
the legal provisions (e.g. in Germany
‚BattG'), i.e. handed in at the collection
point
set up by dealers and traders.
Charcoal must be disposed of safely.
Only ever dispose of used charcoal in
the metal containers provided for this
purpose, or ones made of another non-
combustible material. Do not put charcoal
in plastic containers, or in receptacles
made of combustible materials.
Old devices must be disposed of in an
environmentally aware manner.
Dispose of your old appliance separately
from household waste, e.g. by taking it to
the collection points set up for this pur-
pose. The manufacturer can provide you
with this information on request.
Do not dispose of bat-
teries in household
waste.
