13.1 Service mode

place if necessary.
Remove cause of error,
The unit may be placed in service mode for easier access. The
press STB.
Descale unit.
Check magnetic valve oper-
ation, replace if necessary.
Check connections to
electronic sub-assembly,
replace if necessary.
Eliminate reason for fault
e.g. descale unit, press STB.
Remove and clean if neces-
sary.
Replace tap seal.

» Loosen service clip.
» Remove unit from the wall from the bottom, insert service

13.2 Descaling the unit

The unit can be descaled after demounting the heating element.

13.3 Drain funnel

The drain funnel may dry out from time to time. Top up if neces-
sary (to prevent odour).
Disconnect unit all-pole from the mains when working
on it!
following steps are necessary for this purpose:
» Disconnect electricity and water supply.
» Remove lower unit cover by loosening the screws.
» The unit must be emptied through the drain valve (see chap-
ter "Installation / Water connection").
