2. Important safety instructions
12. Never leave the appliance unattended while switched on.
13. Keep the appliance away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture (do
not immerse in liquids) and sharp corners.
14. During cleaning, do not immerse the appliance or power cord in
water or any other liquids. Never place the base under running water.
15. If the power cord or appliance housing is damaged or if the appliance
was dropped, do not use the appliance until it has been checked by
a professional electrician.
Caution - Danger of electrocution! Do not try to repair the
appliance yourself. Please return the appliance to the dealer
or a qualified customer service centre for maintenance and
repairs.
16. Please note, the appliance is under current as long as the mains
plug is connected to a mains socket.
17. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on
a wet floor.
18. Do not open the appliance. Do not insert objects into the openings
of the appliance.
19. Do not stick any foreign objects onto the appliance.
20. D o not place any objects on top of the appliance.
21. Please note additional instruction in the chapter 5. Cleaning and Care.
Caution - Danger of fire! Do not cover the appliance during
use.
2.2 Special safety instructions
1. Only use the base included in the delivery for the operation of the
appliance.
2. Please ensure that the appliance is switched off, prior to lifting it
of the base.
