Extinguishing the fire
In order to prematurely extinguish the fire, please use the metal cover included in the
Ÿ
scope of delivery. Carefully placed the cover on the fire container. The feed of oxygen
is interrupted by the cover and the flame goes out.
In the event that the fire does not go out, remove the metal cover again and then put
Ÿ
it back on top of the fire. If the flame, however, still does not go out, repeat the
process. It may be necessary to do this multiple times as the flame is "driven off" in this
way.
Never extinguish the fire with water.
Ÿ
If, despite all of the safety precautions, a fire occurs, alcohol-resistant foam or carbon
Ÿ
dioxide-appropriate extinguishing agents must be used.
Please note that the minimum waiting time between extinguishing and refilling the
Ÿ
burner should be at least 15 min.
Cleaning
Note: Risk of burning due to hot surface!
Ÿ
Always let the device completely cool before cleaning it!
Ÿ
Do not use any aggressive abrasive cleaners, severe chemicals or solutions as
Ÿ
otherwise the surface may become damaged.
Remove the fuel residue or dirt from the surface of the fire bowl and the individual
Ÿ
accessory parts with a soft, slightly dampened cloth and, if necessary, a gentle
cleaning agent.
Clean the fire container regularly with warm water and, if necessary, a gentle cleaning
Ÿ
agent.
Allow the parts to dry completely after cleaning.
Ÿ
Storage
If you would like to store your fire bowl, please ensure that the device and its
Ÿ
accessories have completely cooled and that there is no longer any fuel in the fire
container.
Store the fire bowl and accessories in a dry and clean place.
Ÿ
Fuels must be stored out of direct sunlight, as well as away from sources of warmth
Ÿ
and heat.
