When filling the fire container, avoid opened fire and do not smoke!

Fill the fuel to maximum to the specified line in the fuel container (filling volume
Ÿ
maximum 60 ml ? filling height ca. 23 mm). Use a tool for this if necessary, for example
a funnel.
The fuel must not be spilled. If this happens, remove the residue carefully before
Ÿ
lighting.
Please check the safety container (cavity in the concrete base) regularly. The safety
Ÿ
container must be checked before each time the fire container is refilled, to see
whether there is still fuel in it. It must then be emptied.
The fuel should always be at room temperature when used. If the fuel is too cold, it
Ÿ
may not burn successfully.
You should now light the fuel with a long match or stick later from one side.
Ÿ
To begin with, there is a moderated fire, which burns more strongly after a few
minutes.
Caution! There may be a slight explosion or just flame. Never light the fire bowl from
above, but always from the site. Please retain the appropriate distance for safety.
If the fuel in the fire bowl repeatedly does not ignite, it may be because a required part

of the alcohol has already evaporated and therefore its ability to be ignited has
deteriorated. You should wait a few minutes and then dispose of the fuel that is in the
fire bowl and refill the fire bowl.
Ensure there is a sufficient supply of air without a draft! Position the fire bowl in such a

way that there are no flammable objects or materials within 1.5 m, and also above the
fire bowl.
Never store the fuel near a working fire bowl or other sources of warmth or heat.

Where possible, the fuel in the fire container must always be completely burnt off in
Ÿ
order to prevent jets of flame when it is reignited.
Remove the remaining fuel after the fire container has cooled.
Ÿ
Keep away from open fire and do not smoke; this prevents the fuel's fumes being
Ÿ
ignited.
Let the fire container cool before reigniting.
Ÿ
Ensure that the fire container is refilled before each use.
Ÿ
The fire bowl must not be ignited when warm.
