16. Be attentive.
Be careful with what you do. Approach and
perform your work sensibly. Do not use the
compressor when you are unconcentrated or
distracted.
17. Examine the power tool for possible
damage.
• Before using the compressor further, all safety
guards or easily damageable parts must be
carefully examined to ensure that they are in
a proper condition and provide the intended
function.
• Verify that the moving parts are functioning
properly and do not bind, and that no parts are
damaged. All parts must be mounted correctly
and must meet all of the conditions necessary for
ensuring proper operation of the power tool.
• Unless otherwise specified in the Instruction
Manual, damaged safety guards and parts must
be repaired or replaced in compliance with their
intended purpose by an approved specialist
workshop.
• Damaged switches must be replaced by a
customer service workshop.
• Do not use your compressor if the switch cannot
be turned on and/or off.
18. CAUTION!
Using other accessories may lead to a risk of
injury for you.
19. Have your power tools repaired only by a
qualified electrician.
This compressor is compliant with the relevant
safety regulations. Repairs shall be performed
by a qualified electrician, who shall use original
spare parts; otherwise there is a risk of accidents
for the user.
20. Noise.
When using the compressor, wear ear protection.
21. Do not touch components of the compressor
when they are hot; to prevent burns, do not
touch the pipes, the engine and any other
components of the compressor.

4. Special safety instructions

Safety instructions for working with
compressed air
• When in operation, the compressor and the
piping will become very hot, and touching these
will lead to burns.
• It must be ensured that the gases or vapours
sucked in by the compressor are free of any
additives that could lead to fires or explosions
within the compressor.
• When loosening the hose connector, hold
the coupling member firmly with your hand to
prevent injuries which could result if the hose
recoils as it becomes detached.
Operating pressure vessels in compliance with
the Pressure-Vessel-Regulation
1. Anyone operating a pressure vessel must keep
it in a proper condition, operate it in a proper
manner, monitor it, immediately perform any and
all necessary maintenance and repair work, and
implement all necessary safety measures as the
respective situation may require.
2. In certain cases, the supervisory authority may
require monitoring measures.
3. A pressure vessel shall not be operated when
it has defects that could present a hazard to
employees or third parties.
4. The pressure vessel shall be examined regularly
for signs of damage, such as rust. In the event
that you detect such damage, please contact the
customer service workshop.
Residual risk
Make sure to closely follow the maintenance
and safety instructions as well as the information
in the Instruction Manual. In spite of wearing
personal protective equipment (safety glasses),
dirt particles, dust etc. could get into your eyes
or face. Always be very attentive while you work,
and keep any and all third persons at a safe
distance from your workplace.
