Putting into use / operation (cont.)

Ensure that the cheese rind is facing outwards and to the rear. Switch the appliance on and start
melting the cheese. Place a plate diagonally in front of the raclette grill. Wait until the first layer
of the cheese block is melted. Swing the cheese holder out towards the plate using the handle.
Use the supplied spatula to scrape the melted cheese onto the plate. When the cheese rind starts
to separate from the cheese block after a while, remove it with the jagged edge of the cheese
knife/spatula. Hold on to the handle and swing the cheese back under the heater element to melt
it again.
