Do not operate the appliance on or in the vicinity of heat-sensitive objects
(3.). Do not place the appliance on plastic place mats or table cloths.

Ensure that the appliance is standing firmly on the surface when in use

Do not cover the appliance with cloths or similar items (fire risk!). (5.).
Do not touch hot surfaces and always use the handles (4.). Only use
original appliance parts.

The appliance must be used with a grounded power supply (230 V /
50 Hz) with a 10 A fuse (6.).

Only use power cables with a minimum current rating of 10 A.

Always pull on the plug, not the mains cable, when unplugging.

Do not immerse the appliance in water to clean it (7.). The appliance is
not dishwasher-safe (danger of short-circuit!). Please observe the notes
on care and cleaning on page 39.

Ensure that the local mains supply matches that detailed on the
appliance type label.

Position the mains cable and any extension cables in a safe manner to
reduce the risk of people tripping over them.

Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces or objects and naked
flames (8.).

Disconnect the mains cable from the power supply and let the appliance
cool down sufficiently before cleaning.

If the appliance is damaged or defective, remove the mains plug imme-
diately and have the appliance checked and repaired by a professional
electrical retailer. Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself (9.)! The
manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage or injury arising from
non-professional or attempted repair.

Persons (including children), who, based on their physical, sensory or
mental abilities or their inexperience or lack of knowledge, are unable to
operate the appliance safely, must not operate the appliance without
supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
