If the unit is not in use for a longer period of
time, always remove the batteries as a pre-
caution to prevent damage due to battery
leakage
1) Push down the unlock button (6) to open the
battery compartment cover (7)
2) Insert the batteries with the positive and
negative poles as indicated in the battery
compartment
3) Close the battery compartment cover so that
it is locked

insert two rechargeable NiMH (nickel-metal
hydrate) batteries of size AA To charge these
batteries, the charging station G3CH-2 is ide-
ally suited: Leave the batteries in the pocket
transmitter and insert the transmitter into a

3.2 Connecting the microphone and

attaching the transmitter

1) Connect the microphone provided to the mini
XLR jack (9) and use the clip to attach the
microphone to your clothes (e g tie or lapel)
It is also possible to use a different JTS micro-
phone with a 4-pole mini XLR plug
2) When all settings have been made on the
transmitter, use the clip on the rear of the
transmitter to attach it to your clothes (e g
belt or waistband)

3.3 Switching the transmitter on or off,

3.4 Settings

The pocket transmitter RU-G3TB / 5 can be set via
