For special applications, commands can be defined at the base station (DMS-12 only) that can also be triggered by a portable
receiver. If this function is activated, another menu item "Commands" appears between the menu items "Calls" and "Messages". To
trigger a command, the corresponding command must be selected and then sent with OK or  .
The supply capacity is displayed by the battery symbol. If the symbol shows empty state please
charge the device with delivered Micro-USB-Charger. It is very dependent on the use of R-12 how
often it has to be charged. In normal operation it may be all 3 to 5 days.
The R-12 will automatically shut down while charging. Only charge the R-12 if additional R-
12s are in use or the base station is continuously monitored.
Also rechargeable batteries have a limited life time. If you have to change them, open
the cover as shown beside and take off the used ones.
Please check for correct polarity while inserting new rechargeable batteries!
R-12 will be waked up accompanied with a start up melody.
Use only rechargeable batteries type AAA!
