5.2 Using the square counter plate
The square magnetic plate is used between the mobile device and the protective cover. Remove the
protective cover from your device. Remove dust and dirt from the rear of your mobile device and
the inside of the protective cover. Position the square magnetic plate with the padded side against
the mobile device and replace the protective cover.
After a longer period of use, dirt and dust will collect between the mobile device and the
protective cover. This may result in abrasions and scratches on the device. For this reason,
regularly clean the rear of the device and the inside of the protective cover.
5.3 Mounting the magnetic holder
Fold the lever on the base of the magnetic holder upwards in the direction of the holding arm. Place the magnetic holder with the
suction base on the windshield and push the magnetic holder firmly against the glass, and then fold the lever downwards, Figure 3.
5.4 Securing the mobile device to the magnetic holder
Place the mobile device with the magnetic plate already mounted onto the magnetic head of the holder.
Align your device in either portrait or landscape orientation.
5.5 Setting the viewing angle
To achieve the optimum readability of your mobile device, adjust the head of the magnetic holder to
the correct angle. To do this, loosen the cap nuts of the ball joint on the rear of the head, Figure 4. Set
the head, with your mobile device, so that it can be read easily. Tighten the cap nuts back up again,
Figure 5.
5.6 Unfastening the magnetic holder
Fold the lever on the base of the magnetic holder upwards in the direction of the holding arm. Pull the tab on the suction base seal
upwards to release the base from the windshield, Figure 6.
6. Maintenance and care
6.1Maintenance: If you do not need the magnetic holder, store it in such a way that the suction base cannot be damaged. Protect the seal from contamination.
6.2 Care: Occasionally clean the seal of the suction base with a mild cleaning agent (soap or dish-washing liquid) and water.
