5.2.1 Bargraph
Je nach Anzeige der Restzeit oder der bereits
gespielten Zeit eines Titels stellt der Bargraph (e)
zusätzlich die Zeit durch seine Länge graphisch dar.
Die letzten 30 Sekunden eines Titels signalisiert der
Bargraph durch Blinken in seiner vollen Länge,
wobei die letzten 15 Sekunden durch ein schnelle-
res Blinken angezeigt werden.
Hinweis: Bei der Anzeige der Restzeit der gesam-
ten CD ist der Bargraph ausgeblendet.
5.3 Betriebsart wählen
Mit der Taste RELAY (11) lassen sich nacheinander
die vier Betriebsarten „Single", „Continue", „Single
Relay" und „Continue Relay" einschalten. Um z. B.
von der Betriebsart „Continue" zur Betriebsart
„Single" zurückzuschalten, die Taste RELAY dreimal
betätigen.
5.3.1 „Single" – Einzeltitelwiedergabe
Nach dem Einschalten ist immer die Einzeltitel-
wiedergabe aktiviert. Im Display wird „AUTO CUE
SINGLE" (d) angezeigt. Nach dem Spielen eines
Titels schaltet das Gerät auf Pause. Danach ist
exakt die Stelle des nächsten Titels angefahren, an
der die Musik beginnt (und nicht der Zeitindex
00:00:00).
Diese Stelle ist als Startpunkt gespeichert. Nach
dem Starten des Titels kann mit der Taste CUE 2
(10) auf diesen Startpunkt zurückgesprungen wer-
den (siehe Kapitel 5.4).
5.3.2 „Continue" – Gesamttitelwiedergabe
Die Taste RELAY (11) so oft betätigen, bis im Dis-
play „CONTINUE" (c) anstelle von „AUTO CUE
SINGLE" kontinuierlich erscheint. Das Gerät spielt
einen Titel nach dem anderen bis zum Ende der CD
ab.

5.2.1 Bargraph
According to the remaining time indicated or the
time already played of a title, there is an additional
graphic display of the time by the length of the
bargraph (e). The bargraph signalizes the last
30 seconds of a title by blinking in its full length,
whereby the last 15 seconds are indicated by blink-
ing more quickly.
Note: When the remaining time of the entire CD is
indicated, the bargraph is cancelled.
5.3 Selecting the operating mode
With the button RELAY (11) the four operating
modes "Single", "Continue", "Single Relay", and
"Continue Relay" can successively be switched on.
To switch e. g. from the operating mode "Continue"
back to the operating mode "Single", press the but-
ton RELAY three times.
5.3.1 "Single" title replay
After switching on always the single title relay is
activated. "AUTO CUE
SINGLE" (d) is displayed.
After playing a title, the unit switches to pause. Then
the spot of the next title where the music starts is
aimed at exactly (and not the time index 00:00:00).
This spot is memorized as starting point. After
starting the title it is possible to jump back to this
starting point with the button CUE 2 (10) – see chap-
ter 5.4).
5.3.2 "Continue" – total title replay
Press the button RELAY (11) so many times until
"CONTINUE" (c) is continuously displayed instead
of "AUTO CUE
SINGLE". The unit plays one title
after the other until the end of the CD.
5.3.3 „Single Relay" – automatischer Start des
anderen Laufwerks am Ende eines Titels
1) Die Taste RELAY (11) so oft betätigen, bis im Dis-
play „AUTO CUE
SINGLE" (d) blinkt. Die Be-
triebsart „Single Relay" ist damit für beide Lauf-
werke gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk einen Titel abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Pause geschaltet sein
(Anzeige
).
3) Am Ende des Titels startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann einen Titel spielt und danach wie-
der das erste Laufwerk startet usw. bis eine CD
zu Ende gespielt ist.
4) Durch Betätigen der Taste
oder 2 läßt sich die Wiedergabe von einem zum
anderen Laufwerk manuell umschalten.
5) Wird bei dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk
eine andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder
die Betriebsart „Single Relay" mit der Taste
RELAY aktivieren.
5.3.4 „Continue Relay" – automatischer Start
des anderen Laufwerks am Ende der CD
1) Die Taste RELAY (11) so oft betätigen, bis im Dis-
play „CONTINUE" (c) blinkt. Die Betriebsart
„Continue Relay" ist damit für beide Laufwerke
gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk eine CD abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Stopp geschaltet wer-
den. Dazu die entsprechende Taste TIME/STOP
(9) so lange gedrückt halten, bis die Anzeige
erlischt.
3) Am Ende der CD startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann seine CD spielt und danach wieder
das erste Laufwerk startet usw.
4) Wird bei dem auf Stopp stehenden Laufwerk eine
andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder die
Betriebsart „Continue Relay" mit der Taste
RELAY aktivieren und das Laufwerk mit der Taste
TIME/STOP auf Stopp schalten.
5.3.3 "Single Relay" – automatic start of the other
playing mechanism at the end of a title
1) Press the button RELAY (11) so many times until
"AUTO CUE SINGLE" (d) blinks in the display.

2) Play a title on one player mechanism. The other

operating mode "Single Relay" with the button

5.3.4 "Continue Relay" – automatic start of the
other player mechanism at the end of
the CD
1) Press the button RELAY (11) so many times until
"CONTINUE" (c) blinks in the display. Thus, the
operating mode "Continue Relay" is activated for
both player mechanisms at the same time.
2) Play a CD on one player mechanism. The other
player mechanism must be switched to stop. For
this keep the corresponding button TIME/STOP
(9) pressed until the indication
3) At the end of the CD the other player mechanism
starts which then plays its CD and afterwards
starts the first player mechanism again, etc.
4) If another CD is inserted into the player mecha-
nism in the stop mode, then activate again the
operating mode "Continue Relay" with the button
RELAY and switch the player mechanism to the
stop mode with the button TIME/STOP.
Hinweise für die beiden Betriebsarten „Relay"
a Ist der CD-Spieler über die Buchsen START/
PAUSE (21 und 24) an ein Mischpult mit Fader-
start-Funktion angeschlossen (siehe Kap. 6),
müssen die beiden Fader am Mischpult für den
CD-Spieler geöffnet sein. Der CD-Spieler läßt
sich im Relay-Betrieb nicht durch die Mischpult-
fader steuern.
b In der Betriebsart „Continue Relay" startet das
auf Stopp stehende Laufwerk nicht automatisch,
wenn die spielende CD manuell mit dem SCAN-
Kopf (7) oder SEARCH-Kopf (6) bis zum Ende
gefahren wird.
c Wird in der Betriebsart „Single Relay" die Taste
(8) von Laufwerk 1
CUE 2 (10) des wiedergebenden Laufwerks be-
tätigt, wechselt die Wiedergabe zum anderen
Laufwerk. Wird an dem auf Pause stehenden
Lautwerk der Steuerhebel (13) in Richtung
CUE 1 bewegt bzw. die Taste CUE 2 gedrückt
gehalten, wechselt die Wiedergabe solange der
Hebel betätigt bzw. solange die Taste gedrückt
gehalten wird.
5.4 Anspielen eines Titels
1) Nach dem Einlegen einer CD mit der Taste
bzw.
2) Den Steuerhebel (13) in die Position CUE 1 hal-
ten oder die Taste CUE 2 (10) gedrückt halten.
Der Titel wird so lange angespielt, wie der Steu-
erhebel gehalten bzw. die Taste gedrückt wird.
3) Nach dem Loslassen des Steuerhebels bzw. der
Taste CUE 2 springt das Gerät auf den Titelan-
fang zurück. Zum Starten des Titels die Taste
(8) drücken. Danach kann mit der Taste CUE 2
weiterhin auf den Titelanfang zurückgesprungen
werden (jedoch nicht mit dem Steuerhebel).
5.5 Schneller Vor- und Rücklauf
Soll während des Abspielens einer CD der Titel
schnell weiter- oder zurückgefahren werden, den
SCAN-Knopf (7) nach rechts bzw. links drehen. Je

5.4 Short playing of a title beginning
1) After inserting a CD, jump with the button
(12) to the desired title.
2) Hold the control lever (13) in position CUE 1 or
keep the button CUE2 (10) pressed. The title is
played as long as the control lever is held or the
button is pressed.
3) After releasing the control lever or button CUE 2,
the unit jumps back to the title beginning. To start
the title, press the button

5.5 Quick advance and reverse run
To advance or reverse the title quickly while playing
a CD, turn the knob SCAN (7) to the right or left. The
further the knob SCAN is turned, the quicker
the advance or reverse run.
