Charging station
Intended use
The charger is only suitable for recharging the
battery for the ARM 4037 battery-powered lawn-
mower.
Warning: Charging other batteries is not
permitted.
The charger must not be used to charge non-
rechargeable batteries.
Only use the machine for its intended purpose as
described here. The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for a failure to observe the instruc-
tions from the generally applicable guidelines, as
well as the instructions from this manual.
Charging station
No metal pieces are permitted to get into the bat-
tery insertion shaft on the chargers (risk of short
circuit).
Never use the charger in damp or wet environ-
ments. Only suitable for use indoors.
Ensure that the mains voltage complies with the
specifications on the charger's type plate. There
is a risk of electric shock.
Only disconnect the cable connections by pulling
the plug. Pulling the cable can damage the cable
and the plug, and electrical safety would no lon-
ger be guaranteed.
Never use the charger if cables, plugs or the de-
vice itself are damaged by external influences.
Have damage repaired in a specialist workshop.
Prevent the device's cooling function being im-
paired by covering the cooling slot. Never operate
the device close to sources of heat or on a flam-
mable base.
Never open the charger. Contact a specialist
workshop if there is a fault. Only use the charger
supplied to charge the battery. Using other char-
gers can cause defects or start a fire.
The battery's outer surface must be clean and dry
before you charge it.
Rechargeable battery
Vapours can be emitted if batteries are used im-
properly or if damaged batteries are used. Int-
roduce fresh air and contact a doctor if you feel
unwell. The vapours can irritate the respiratory
system.
Never use damaged, defective or deformed batte-
ries. Never open or damage the battery, or allow
it to fall.
