INSERTING THE BATTERIES

1. Remove the cover from the
front and insert 2 x AAA 1.5V
batteries (not included).
2. Check the timer by turning the
RUN TIME knob to ON.
3. The battery light flashes if
the batteries are OK. If the
battery light goes out, the
batteries are dead and need
to be replaced.

SETTING THE PROGRAM

• FREQUENCY is used to set and adjust the frequency
between watering sessions (every morning at 08:00 means
24-hour frequency).
• RUN TIME sets and adjusts the length of each watering
session.
PLEASE NOTE! FREQUENCY must be longer than RUN TIME,
otherwise the setting will not work.
SETTING THE DELAY FEATURE
Example: The time is 09:00. You want to set a watering time
of 5 minutes per day and start watering at 18:00.
4. Set FREQUENCY to 1 hour.
5. Set RUN TIME to 5 min.
6. Press and hold the DELAY button for at least 2 seconds
until the LED button starts flashing.
7. Release the DELAY button.
8. Each press of the DELAY button now corresponds to 1
hour of delay. In this case, press the DELAY button 9 times
to get a 9-hour delay.
• The delay time can be set from 0–23 hours.
• If the frequency (FREQUENCY) changes at any time, the
start time for watering will change accordingly. If you
change the watering time (RUN TIME), the start time for the
next watering session does not change.
